Dana Wasson has been dabbling in various art forms her entire life. Her professional career as a graphic facilitator, with no specific art training, forced her to learn how to draw images and concepts for clients around the world. Her art exploration included watercolor-based urban sketching, but she really discovered her flow through abstract art, where she wasn’t pressured to have to draw realistic images and could just use her intuition to create art. She uses acrylic paint, oil pastels, and pencils for mark-making on canvas, paper, and occasionally wood. She loves to channel her love of color into scenes that remind her of tropical beaches and beautiful floral bouquets.
